Sarah and Brad | Engaged

Everything that could have gone wrong for this poor couple seemed to do just that on the day of our engagement session! Sarah and Brad were coming from the Boston area on the day of our shoot and were caught in some terrible traffic which delayed them almost an hour. We got a bit nervous when we realized just how much daylight we had left…. but once they arrived, our time together was so incredibly smooth and they were naturals in font of the camera. I don’t think I could have possibly asked for a better session or more time! It was as if Sarah and Brad had done this before… that and the fact that they were so in love and so beautiful, they made the whole thing way to easy for me. I am so excited to be working with these two later this summer to capture their big day in Newport RI! It is going to be fabulous!

For our “practice” session as Sarah called it, we headed over to one of my favorite locations, Horseneck Beach.  Of course the gatekeeper threatened to lock us in 20 minutes into our time, but it just forced us over to our second location, the gorgeous Westport Vineyard with just the perfect amount of daylight. Sarah and Brad, you are way too much fun! I can’t wait to work with you in July! Here are some favorites!

Adelaide and Her Family Celebrate!

Adelaide is turning one and came by with her family to celebrate last week. We played knocked over trains with big brother, played inside of baskets and crates, and of course ate cake! I adored the simplicity of so many of these shots, especaially Adelaide’s cake and birthday banner. So dainty and delicate! Here are some of my favorites from our time hanging out together!

Mom and Dad say that Adelaide likes to “play” with her big brother’s train set whenever he takes it out. This next series will have you cracking up!

Ha!! Big brother!!

This might be one of my favorite cake smash images of ALL times!

Savannah is One!

Savannah came back to visit me last week to celebrate her first birthday! Savannah’s mom wanted to make sure that there was lots of pink and purple interplayed in her sweet girl’s smash setup. This cake was even topped with a crown, perfectly fit for a princess!:)Mom worked really hard during this session in order to keep miss Savannah laughing. She had no idea how tired she would be when she left.:)Here are some of my favorites!

Love this last shot… hehehehe… Savannah was all done!:)

Happy Birthday pretty girl!

Andrew and Brooklyn, Twice the Fun!

The last time I saw Alison, I was photographing one of her girlfriend’s wedding. She was a bridesmaid, 5 or so months pregnant with TWO babies, and I had no idea! I had much fun when she brought Brooklyn and Andrew to see me last week. While the twins were born a few weeks back, they patiently waited while there precious babies gained some more weight and grew stronger in the hospital. Just spending a few hours with them and their parents during our session, I can’t help but imagine all of the crazy fun that must be happening at this household. It was such an adventure of a session!:)

As you can see below, Brooklyn is still a bit of a peanut next to her big brother Andrew, but she certainly made up for it in personality! I can’t wait to work with this family again in the future and see how much they have grown. What fun these two are going to be for their parents! I can remember the joy that just one child brought to my husband and I when my little guy arrived. Watching these two parents interact with their TWO precious babies was so sweet. So much love! Here are some favorites from our time together!

We worked really hard for this shot!!:)

She just had twins…. I feel like I should caps that statement… She JUST had twins!!! She looks AMAZING!!! Where is her “I just had twins” belly!?

Favorite!

Jack! | Newborn

This little guy had the perfect blend of milky skin, blonde fuzz hair, and squeezable cheeks. That’s one seriously cute newborn combination. Jack had me cracking up… he is one of the few newborns that actually responded to the flash of my camera and sound of my shutter speed.:)Had to make sure the white noise was extra loud with this silly little guy. Jack’s mamma loved hippos and had a hippo themed baby shower! How adorable is this first image with Jack laying on his big hippo friend? Here are some of my favorites form our time together!
