Very Pretty Page | Newborn

Meet Page! Isn’t she so stinkin cute? Just look at that hair!

I was so thrilled to be able to work with Page this past week. Page’s parents are The Murphy’s, both RI wedding photographers. So of course it was a huge honor when they called upon me to do a newborn session for their sweet baby girl! It was so fun to be able to chat shop, gear, and of course baby with them during our time together. What a lovely couple! I’m so glad to have had the chance to get to know them better and help them capture this amazing time in their life. I’ve said it once, I’ll say it a million times. Parenthood is AMAzing! Welcome to the greatest stage of your life Jim and Tana! Here are some of my favorites of your sweet baby girl…

Lydia & Tim’s Big Day! | Wedding

Last month, I had the pleasure of capturing Lydia and Tim’s big day! Since the couple is from out of state, I wasn’t actually able to meet the two until the day of their wedding. However, I was able to gather and assume so much about their personalities just from our phone conversations! As I began working with them and observing them on their wedding day, I quickly realized that most of my assumptions were correct… Lydia and Tim are completely hilarious, pretty laid back, all about having some serious fun, and most importantly really really love each other.

I adored so many of the details from this event… so many personal touches… so much love for their family (especially those adorable flower girls)…so many personal memories and jokes that they were able to manifest through their reception in the items they choose to incorporate (including two very large pictures of the bride and groom replicating the facial expressions from a movie they both loved… I think… see, I told you… they were hilarious). I really really enjoyed this wedding! I especially loved our time of “formal shots” taken during the cocktail hour. I use the word formal loosely… the bride and groom warned me that they were not too much into posing in front of the camera. I had to get sneaky in catching the two of them on film, although when I asked them to pose or position themselves a certain way, the results were usually pretty hilarious… they really let their fantastic personalities shine through as I’m sure you will see below!

Lydia and Tim, it was such a pleasure! Thank-you for letting us be apart of your wedding! I wish you great happiness in the future!! Here are some of my favorite highlights from your big day…

The ceremony took place on the beautiful porch at The Barn! Lydia and Tim put these fabulous crossword puzzles on the back of the programs to entertain the guests while they waited. Completely thoughtful and completely fun! It was hard to find a guest that wasn’t working on the puzzle…

Herein lies my sneaky attempts to pose the bride and groom during the cocktail hour for some “formals”…:)Observe the facial expressions in some of the following images… they will have you cracking up…

The reception hall was full of so many fun details! The atmosphere was fantastic, the speeches made by Tim’s brother and sister were hiiiiilarious (you’ll soon see a series of images showcasing the bride and groom’s reactions during those speeches…), the food was so delicious, and the bluegrass styled band was fabulous. What a celebration!

Tim and Lydia, it was such a pleasure! Lydia, you looked absolutely amazingly gorgeous and Tim you seriously had us laughing the whole day! I hope you have many happy memories looking back on your wedding day through these images. Congratulations! Marriage is a beautiful thing!

Welcome Kaylee Marie! | Newborn

Welcome baby Kaylee! I had such a fabulous time working with Kaylee and her family last week in the studio. I adored how in love her mom and dad were with their new sweet baby girl. There is something that I love about interacting with newborns and their brand new parents.:)I am especially excited to be working with this fabulous family again in just a few short months in covering another big event, their wedding! What a great family to work with!:)Here are some of my favorites from our time together…

Isaiah Is One!! | Baby

I love Isaiah! AND I love his family! Isaiah’s parents are great friends of ours and my little man Sam adores playing with Isaiah and his big brother Jeremiah. Sam said Isaiah’s name this week in the sweetest little way… “Zaya? Zaya?”… melted my heart!

Last week, Isaiah came over for some fun cake smashing! We had such a blast capturing these images below! Dad was routing on Isaiah pretty strongly when it came time to eating that cake… its a good thing Isaiah dug right in towards the end!;)I hope you enjoy this set as much as I enjoyed working on them!! Happy Birthday little man!! We love you so much! :)

Connor hits 6 months! | Baby

Sweet little man Connor is 6 months! I have adored watching Connor grow over these last few months on our “Grow With Me” plan. What a difference I found in him this time around! I love how smiley Connor was for this session. Of course he was happiest in the arms of his parents… I am completely in love with the shots of Connor laughing with his daddy. Priceless!! By the time Connor was finished laughing with his daddy, he only wanted to bury his face in the comfort of his mommy’s shoulder… he was tired from all that smiling! We’ll have to get some great mommy shots next time around. Can’t wait to play with you again little man… see you in 3 months!!:)
